I used a photo and my memories on this one. The DVD I ordered was very helpful and I learned some new ideas on color and value concepts. A method the instructor often uses is called the Cape Cod method. My DVD is from NC Coastal painter Mike Rooney. I love his paintings, he is one of the many daily painters whose work I admire!
