Today I received the May issue of the NC "Our State" magazine, it featured some beautiful photos of the NC coast and and some great photos of the lighthouses. I used a palette knife on this painting. The lighthouse is located on Ocracoke Island, I have never seen it in person but it is on my list of places to visit someday.
