6x6 in Oil on black gessoboard
Today I painted over an old painting that I never liked. I sanded it smooth, wiped it clean and then applied a black gesso on the surface. After about four hours I set up this little still life of four vine ripened tomatoes I bought at the store. It was so different painting on a black canvas, I will try some more paintings after I go through the mistakes and get them ready to paint a brand new painting.
