# 187 - Grocery Store Daffodils

Painting # 1 of 30

8"x10" -  Oil on gallery wrapped canvas

Today is day one of the 30 for 30 day paintings challenge hosted by Leslie Saeta on her blog.  I wish I could figure out how to add a link to her blog, I will try and work on that.   I have not been painting much lately.  I guess I am in just a bit of a rut, not feeling inspired and not happy with so many of my paintings lately.  So... this challenge is just what I need right now!

Wow! This is really beautiful! I love the softness of this painting, Hard to believe it's done in oil. It has a softness to it, that looks as if its been done using pastels. (I love pastels)Beautiful. I also love the shine on the apple. Very nice work. Good luck with the challenge and Happy New Years!

Thank you Sam, Celia and Jane for your comments. I really enjoy the 30 day challenges that Leslie hosts on her blog. It keeps me focused and painting, whether my painting is good or bad I know the practice is always good for me. Thank you again for your comments, I appreciate it very much.
