# 215 - "Pink Roses"

Original Oil on Panel, 8" x 10" "Pink Roses"

I was inspired to paint this weeks Daily Paintworks Challenge, artist Kaethe Bealer posted a gorgeous photo of pink roses for the challenge.  I just finished attending a workshop by artist Connie Winters.  It was such fun and a great learning experience. I hope to incorporate her lessons on value, bold purposeful strokes and using warm and cool colors.

Thank you for stopping by and having a look!

Debi, your roses are beautiful! I love the bits of warm light you have painted within the blooms. Pink and gray are a great color combination!
It sounds like you attended a great workshop!

Hi Debbie, for some odd reason on my blog I see the thumbnail for a recent post of a landscape but I come to your blog and don't see it. It has happened with other blogs too. I will keep trying!
