# 248 - Pansies and Copper

Original oil on panel, 10" x 8"

This evening I decided to try a still life.  I bought a copper mug a few weeks ago and decided to try and paint it for this week's Daily Paintworks challenge.  I loved painting the mug and the pansies were fun as well.   I can hardly believe I still have a few red roses blooming.  I am going to attempt one last red rose painting this evening....maybe.

Thank you for dropping by and having a look.

Hi Debi, gorgeous work on the copper, you did a beautiful job on the reflections. The pansies add a nice delicate touch to contrast the metal texture and I love the shadows.
I am working on a copper still life myself, hopefully I will have it finished soon.
