# 285 - Island Dunes II

6" x 8" Oil on Panel

Today I decided to do a little re-touching on a painting I did a while back.  I have not been painting for a month or so, I decided I needed a break, feeling a bit unchallenged and blah.  Any other artists out there go through the same feeling of just not happy with your work?  Well, summer is here now and I am hoping to get inspired once again.  I would love to be driving along the coastal highway of the Outer Banks and seeing some views of the ocean, beach and dunes for inspiration.
Thank you  for stopping by and having a look!

Gorgeous clouds and landscape, feels sunny and happy. I go through it often maybe it has something to do with the end of winter blues...now I am trying to push myself out of it. I am happy to see you posting again!!

Celia, I appreciate you stopping by and your very nice comments! I am hoping to get back to painting more often this summer. I work full time and more often than not evenings are not the best time for me to paint lately. I am looking forward to the weekends and hoping for good lighting and inspiration both in my studio and outside.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
