8" x 10" - Oil on panel
I had a little trouble today finding inspiration to paint something. I wanted to try a still life with flowers but didn't have any flowers on hand with the exception of a few roses still blooming on my rose bushes. I cut three and painted the little painting above. Looking at this on my monitor I may go back and add more definition and highlights to the glass and maybe a second stem in the water. Thinking a lighter background as well.
