Tonight I finished this little study for this weeks Daily PaintWorks Challenge . The challenge was to do a value study from a black and white photo of a movie star. I found a good photo of Lucille Ball, I think I may have captured a bit of her likeness. I have been wanting to try a few portraits lately, this was fun and a good exercise for me in using values.
