4" 1/4 x 6" 1/4 approx. Oil painted on a mirror framed in a antique gold frame.
I applied a coat of gesso to the mirror, then painted directly on the mirror (still framed)
The back has a paper dust cover and hooks for hanging. Fun experimenting with a new surface, not sure how it will hold up painted on a mirror. I think it may work okay. the size including the frame is about 10" x 8".

I see that I've missed some of your posts, Debi! I really like the pansies. How clever to paint on a mirror... I really like the way it turned out!
Thanks so much for stopping by Linda. I think the next one I paint I will sand the mirror a bit before applying the gesso.
my sister mentioned something that never occurred to me - what if the mirror somehow breaks? So...maybe painting on a mirror is not such a great idea after all.
